New Information About Astronomer HR Chief Kristin Cabot’s Personal Life Resurfaces

New information has come to light amid the Kiss Cam scandal involving Astronomer’s HR Director, Kristin Cabot, and CEO Andy Byron, which unfolded at a recent Coldplay concert earlier this week.

Andy and Kristin were shown on the jumbotron in a loving embrace during the Boston show on July 16, which they quickly withdrew from when they realized they were being broadcast to the crowd.

Their reaction sparked a media storm, leading to a frenzied investigation by internet sleuths and social media users into Kristin and Andy’s actions. It has been reported that Andy is married to a woman named Megan Carrigan Byron. It was also previously confirmed that Kristin is a recent divorcée.

She was married to Kenneth Thornby according to recently obtained Massachusetts court documents. The pair, who share at least one child, filed for divorce in 2018. Their split was finalized in 2022, with the court ordering Kenneth to pay a lump sum in child support.

Shortly after the Kiss Cam footage went viral, it was unclear whether Kristin had remarried after divorcing Kenneth. However, the Daily Mail has reported that she is, in fact, married to another CEO: Andrew Cabot, who also serves as COO of Privateer Rum.

The distillery has been in Andrew’s family for six generations, according to his profile on the company’s official website. “Responsible for the vision and strategy, Andrew works closely with the team he assembled to produce one of the finest rums in the world,” the bio reads.

“One simple question has focused Andrew throughout his career in technology, and time in public education and academia – ‘how can we do this better?'” it continues.

Andrew indeed holds a seasoned résumé in these industries according to his LinkedIn profile. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies and Philosophy from Northeastern University, a degree in Philosophy from UCLA, and a Masters in Education from Harvard Graduate School of Education.

Beginning the mid-90s, he held multiple high-ranking positions at several companies before eventually taking the reins of the family business in 2009. It’s unclear when he—reportedly—tied the knot with the Astronomer executive.

Court documents dated in January show that his alleged wife, Kristin (maiden name Stanek), was married when she sold a property in Watertown, Massachusetts, for $1.8 million earlier this year.

Additionally, property records obtained by the New York Post show that he and Kristin have shared an address in Rye, New Hampshire, since 2023. After they were listed as co-residents at the estate, the couple eventually purchased it for $2.2 million in February of this year.

Prior to Kristin, more public documents show that Andrew was married twice before, in 1993 and in 2014. He had two children in his first marriage to a woman named Maud Cabot. Last year, in May, Kristin was present at Andrew’s daughter’s 25th birthday party.

Maud shared photos from the festivities, where Kristin posed alongside Andrew and his family, on Facebook. Andrew also has a Facebook account, though it hasn’t been active since 2020.

Kristin, on the other hand, has deactivated all of her social media accounts as Coldplay’s Boston concert appears to have exposed her as Andy’s rumored mistress after their unusual reaction to the show’s “Kiss Cam” segment caught the audience’s attention.

In the video, as the Kiss Cam zoomed in on the pair, Andy allegedly blurted out a startled reaction. The 50-year-old, was seen with his arm around Kristin.

As the camera zoomed in on them, Coldplay frontman Chris Martin took notice from the stage and playfully called out, “Oh look at these two! Oh what? Either they’re having an affair, or they’re just very shy.”

The comment seemed to spark immediate panic. Realizing they were being broadcast to the crowd, Andy and Kristin quickly pulled apart. Andy reportedly blurted out, “f**king hell, it’s me,” while Kristin allegedly responded more quietly, “this is awkward.”

In an apparent effort to avoid further attention, Andy ducked out of view, disappearing from the screen, while Kristin turned away and covered her face with her hands.

So far, neither Andy nor Kristin has addressed the incident publicly, but the moment continues to circulate on social media as concertgoers and fans weigh in on what was meant to be a light-hearted part of the show.

“Chris Martin doing Gods work, [sic]” a netizen quipped in praise of the frontman’s unscripted remark. “Imagine getting caught by Coldplay,” another added.

Social media users echoed Martin’s lighthearted but suggestive comment since the video went viral. “HES having an affair… [sic],” one person wrote. “They’re definitely hiding something, that’s for sure,” added another.

One user claimed to recognize the pair immediately, posting, “Oh my God that looks like Astronomer CEO Andy Byron AND Astronomer Chief People Officer Kristin Cabot??? Oh that’s gonna be one awkward board meeting, if not a couple of divorces too. [sic]”

Once it was confirmed that Andy is a married man, another user questioned, “I wonder where he told his wife he was going to be?”

Aside from Kristin’s now-deleted LinkedIn bio, social media users have also found Andy’s 2023 press release about her executive appointment.

In the statement, he said, “Kristin’s exceptional leadership and deep expertise in talent management, employee engagement, and scaling people strategies will be critical as we continue our rapid trajectory. She is a proven leader at multiple growth-stage companies and her passion for fostering diverse, collaborative workplaces makes her a perfect fit for Astronomer.”

Now, those remarks are resurfacing in a very different light. Online commentary on their rumored affair has ranged from humorous to incredulous. “This cheating scandal is the gift that keeps on giving… for the lawyers, that is! Their spouses should be thanking the tabloids right about now 😂😂😂,” one user wrote.

As suspicions swirled, many also zeroed in on Andy’s marriage. His wife, Megan, initially removed the name Byron from her Facebook profile before eventually deactivating the account altogether. Her Instagram profile has also been taken down.

Megan reportedly acted swiftly after her social accounts were flooded with comments referencing the viral video of her husband and his HR executive at the concert. Ultimately, netizens let Megan know that they were on her side.
